Sainik School Nalanda is one of the Sainik Schools run by the Sainik Schools Society under the Ministry of Defence. Inaugurated at Rajgir on 12 October 2003, it shifted in January 2016 to a permanent 52-acre campus at Village Nanand near Pawapuri in Nalanda district. A fully residential CBSE school (affiliation 380004) for Classes 6 to 12, it trains cadets for the NDA and other services. Girls have been admitted since 2021-22. The campus has five hostels, an Atal Tinkering Lab, science and computer labs, and an equestrian club.
