Responsibilities of a Freelancer
As a PickMySchool Freelancer (also called a School Admission Partner), your role is to bridge the gap between parents seeking the right school and the schools listed on our platform.
- Identify parents in your network who are looking for school admissions for their children.
- Understand the family's requirements — board preference (CBSE/ICSE/State), budget, location, and boarding or day school.
- Share relevant school options from the PickMySchool platform with interested parents.
- Submit the parent's lead (contact details and requirements) through your freelancer dashboard.
- Follow up with the parent to encourage a school visit or inquiry.
- Maintain honest, transparent communication — never promise admissions directly.
- Regularly update lead statuses in your dashboard after every interaction.

Lead Verification
Our team verifies the lead and contacts the parent to understand their requirement.
School Visit / Inquiry
The parent is guided to visit or enquire at the matched school(s). The school tracks this inquiry.
Admission Confirmed
Once the student takes admission at the school, the conversion is marked in the system.
Commission Credited
Your commission is calculated based on the school type and credited to your registered bank / UPI account.

Bonus Incentives

Eligibility & Rules
Who Can Join?
- Any Indian citizen aged 18 years or above.
- Teachers, education counsellors, retired school staff — strongly preferred.
- Parents with an active social network in their locality.
- Students (college/grad) looking for part-time income.
- No formal educational qualification required.
Code of Conduct
- Never collect money from parents on behalf of schools.
- Do not make false promises about guaranteed admissions.
- Submit only genuine, verifiable leads.
- Respect parent privacy — do not share their data with third parties.
- Duplicate leads (same parent submitted by multiple freelancers) are resolved by submission time.
- Fraudulent leads result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of pending commissions.
Payment Process
All commissions are processed transparently. You can track every lead's status and corresponding earnings in real time from your dashboard.
UPI / Bank Transfer
Payments are made directly to your UPI ID or registered bank account — no cash handling.
Payment Cycle
Commissions for admissions confirmed in a month are processed within the 1st–7th of the following month.
Commission Lock-in
Commission is locked once an admission is confirmed by the school and verified by our team.
Minimum Payout
Minimum payout threshold is ₹500. Amounts below this roll over to the next cycle.
TDS & Tax Compliance
TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) at 5% is applicable on annual commissions exceeding ₹15,000 as per Section 194H of the Income Tax Act. A TDS certificate (Form 16A) will be provided. Maintain your PAN details in your profile.

- Ask about the child's grade, preferred board, and budget before suggesting schools.
- Share success stories: "A family from our colony got their child admitted to [School Name] through PickMySchool last month."

Pro Tips
- Always introduce yourself as an independent school admission counsellor, not a school agent.
- Create a simple WhatsApp status listing 3–5 schools you're promoting this admission season.
- Follow up within 24 hours of the initial conversation.
- Offer to accompany the parent on a school visit — it dramatically improves conversion.
- Log every lead immediately in your dashboard while the conversation is fresh.
